Not sure how we made it.. BUT WE DID - IT’S OUR 3RD BIRTHDAY!
Words cannot describe how much this agency has changed my life. As I look back from where I started to where I am today, I cannot help but feel so grateful to everyone that has helped shape Forest Colard’s journey so far. From the creators, to clients, and prayers to fasting, all of these moments have truly been spectacular and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the people I’ve been so lucky to surround myself with.
I’ve told this story a thousand times and if you’re reading this for the 1000th time, my bad! But for those of you who are new to my journey, let me tell you how it all started... Just like any entrepreneur or business owner who had a dream, you’re not too sure where your vision will take you, but you want to go somewhere. I knew from a young age that I was very passionate about creativity and telling stories through content but little did I know I could make a career out of it, especially a decade ago when social media merely existed. At the time in my career before Forest Colard, I was so unhappy in my role, I knew something had to give. I took the biggest risk of my life and left my job with no clue what my future held before I launched Forest Colard! Eeek, I still can’t believe it!
I didn’t do this alone. The amount of people that championed, guided and supported me along this process is mind blowing. To my family, friends, mentors and colleagues who believed in me and provided guidance and encouragement... Without you all, my journey would look very different!
I remember the very first influencer trip Forest Colard planned back in 2020. What I loved about it the most was the fact the client trusted us to bring their ideas and vision to life, which is so empowering to lead. Since this trip we’ve got a long list of clients across a variety of industries on our roster and the trust they put in us is amazing to say the least. My team always get the job done and I couldn’t be more proud!
One of the best and scariest parts about growing your own business is building a team of people, but I’m honestly proud of the culture and community of people here at Forest Colard. I have been so fortunate to find and work with some truly amazing people who share the same values and visions and from the bottom of my heart I truly believe this has been the key factor to our growth and success.
Boy when I tell you, building a business is never easy, and let me tell you there have been MANY MANY MANY late nights and A LOT of tough moments along the way. But what kept me going was my passion and purpose. I’ve never really said this out loud but I am constantly inspired by the insane work our team creates and the impact this has on our clients.
Lastly I want to give a special shoutout to the people who inspired me to start and build this agency. From music managers at record labels, to the press officers I met and other entrepreneurs who have fought their own fires, you don’t know how much you inspire me, so thank you! I’m so excited to see what the future holds for Forest Colard as we continue to grow, innovate and inspire the next generation.
