FC TAKES MENORCA

This year, the Forest Colard team took a well-deserved break and jetted off to the beautiful island of Menorca for a few unforgettable days of adventure, relaxation, and bonding. The trip was packed with activities that allowed us to make the most of our time together and create memories that we’ll absolutely cherish for years to come.

As soon as we landed it was a relief to feel the warmth of the sun after a rainy few days in London. We arrived at our Cala En Porter based hotel, had lunch, carried on with work for the day and then headed to Nonna Bazaar for dinner. The restaurant was a crowd pleaser to say the least, with some members of the group naming this their favourite part of the holiday. The setting was more than instagram worthy and the food and overall vibes were nothing short of a 10. We shared stories and many laughs over the diner table, an ideal way to get everyone in the holiday spirit and set the tone for the days ahead.

Day two started bright and early as we continued working, then Ola ran a group session where we took some time to focus on what’s next for Forest Colard. We gathered for a team workshop, sharing ideas and brainstorming our next big moves. It was an inspiring session, full of creativity and enthusiasm. At 5:30 we got to visit a local winery for a private tour and tasting at Bodegas Binifadet. The short trip out of town was well worth it; we found ourselves in a stunning vineyard, and our guide took us through the winemaking process, explaining the history behind the winery and their produce. The tasting that followed was a treat, with each glass bursting with the unique taste of Menorca’s grapes. That evening we dined local, then headed altogether to the famous Covas D’en Xoroi nightclub where we danced, laughed, and made the most of every moment in this unforgettable setting. It was the perfect way to cap off our second day. (the club is literally inside a cave at the side of the ocean… so cool)

Saturday morning we headed to the city of Mahon for some shopping then ate at Sa Cala in Cales Fonts for some traditional spanish tapas. In the afternoon, we dialled up the adventure with a private boat trip along the coast. The turquoise waters were even more beautiful in person, and we couldn’t wait to dive in. Some of us were cliff jumping and had fun on the paddle board, while others relaxed on deck, soaking up the sun. It felt like pure bliss as we cruised along the coastline, enjoying a picnic and a few drinks while taking in the incredible scenery. To close off our amazing few days we dined at the beautiful Club Menorca and chatted about our favourite moments of the trip.

As we boarded our flight back home, there was a sense of gratitude and excitement. In just three days, we managed to experience so much of what Menorca has to offer, from its stunning natural beauty to its vibrant nightlife. It was a trip filled with laughter, adventure, and moments that brought us closer together as a team. We are coming back to the UK feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the rest of the year!.
